From the State Deputy

Sixty days. Two months. That is all the time left in this 2020-21 Knights of Columbus fiscal year. Doesn’t seem like much time. However, much can be accomplished! Supreme is rolling out the Covid Recovery Program. This plan is simple and helps you accomplish much towards, membership, Faith in Action and Leave No Neighbor behind programs. It might even help your council achieve Star Council! Please do your best to institute the program at your council! As more COVID 19 restrictions are lifted, we need to move forward to help our brothers and their families, our parishes and our communities. That’s what we do as Knights. I am hoping this program will reignite enthusiasm in the ranks and it will carry on through the summer.

I am also, hoping that this year’s State Convention will inspire our ranks. I am hoping the convention will destroy the idea that we can’t do anything during the pandemic. Much was done. Think how those limited resources still accomplished good things. Then think how much more can be done with full cooperation from all brothers and full access to needed resources. Let’s make these last 60 days the best. The best will lift us all to new heights in our brotherhood.-Dan Hallsten, State Deputy

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the most Holy Sacrament of your Body and Blood. I love You and desire to receive You. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come spiritually into my heart. I embrace You and unite myself wholly to You. Never let me be separated from You.
